Poople Maps

Community Guidelines

Poople Maps works best when submissions are honest, useful, safe, and respectful. These guidelines help keep the map reliable for everyone.

Good submissions

  • Use the real establishment or facility name
  • Pin the location as accurately as possible
  • Pick the correct gender variant: Male, Female, or Gender Neutral
  • Add operating hours when known, or mark them not available
  • Rate the CR based on what you actually saw
  • Upload useful photos of the entrance, toilet, sink, and cleanup options

Photo rules

Photos should help users understand the CR condition. Avoid uploading photos with people, faces, private information, payment details, documents, vehicle plates, or anything unrelated to the restroom.

Reviews

Reviews should be based on real visits. Since gender-specific CRs are separated, review the exact gender variant you used or checked. For example, a Male CR review should not be used to judge the Female CR at the same location.

Reports and corrections

Use Report Issue when a CR is closed, wrongly pinned, missing hours, has outdated photos, wrong gender tags, wrong access rules, or unsafe conditions.

Reports should be factual and helpful. Do not use reports to harass a business, facility, user, or contributor.
